Google Pays $18.6 Million Applying for 101 New gTLDs

ICANN today revealed its big list of applicants for 1,930 new generic top-level domains. Google has applied to claim 101 of those new gTLD extensions, from .ads to .zip. Microsoft has also applied for .bing, while Yahoo seeks .yahoo.
